Yesterday afternoon, I received news from the School of Library and Information Science that I was selected as a recipient of the H.W. Wilson scholarship!

I plan on using the scholarship to defray costs associated with enrolling in LIS 7990 (directed study) in order to pursue my research interest: censorship and intellectual freedom during the Third Reich — clandestine publishing, underground libraries, the Nazi book burnings of 1933, the banned book list, and textbook censorship.
